SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the internal SMS text-messaging program operated by Pop-A-Lock of Northern New Jersey ("we," "us," or "our"). By receiving messages through this program, recipients agree to these terms.

Program description

Our dispatch system sends operational text messages, and related automated voice calls, to on-shift technicians and their managers — for example, an alert that a new service call has been assigned to a technician, and follow-up "wake-up" reminders that escalate to a manager if a dispatch has not been acknowledged. These are operational, work-related messages. This program is not used for marketing or promotional messages.

Who receives messages

Recipients are employees of Pop-A-Lock of Northern New Jersey, and messages are sent to company-owned phones issued to them for their work. Employees consent to receive these operational dispatch messages on their company phones as part of their job duties.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on shift schedules and dispatch activity. A technician may receive messages when a job is assigned to them and when a dispatch is escalated; on a busy shift this may be several messages, and on a quiet shift, none.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by the mobile carrier under the applicable plan; we do not control or reimburse those charges.

Opting out (STOP) and help (HELP)

Carrier liability

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

Changes to the program

We may modify or discontinue this messaging program, or these terms, at any time. The current version is always posted at this page, with the effective date shown above.

Privacy

Your information is handled as described in our SMS Privacy Policy. In short, we do not sell, rent, or share recipients' mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
